Midair_Demo.rec by C (Felonius)

I wouldn't really call this demo a midair disc tutorial. It's more or less a demo of Shade, Alloutwar, and I having a midair disc fest.

Explaining how to use midair discs effectively is quite difficult. I thought that maybe some of you out there might find it useful to see it in action instead. Keep in mind that ping does not necessarily limit you from hitting good midair shots. If you'll notice, C (Shade) pings about 200ms in the demo, and he scores as many midairs as Alloutwar, who is LPB.

While running around in an OGL match attempting midair shots non-stop isn't necessarily worthwhile, practicing them tends to improve everything else that requires prediction. You get better at discing, of course; however, the extreme amount of midair strafing and jetting involved improves flagging, flag retrieval, dodging ability, etc. It's all relative.

If you don't learn anything, at least you get to see a few cool shots here and there. :)
