Reckless Abandon vs Imperial Elite

This demo was back when both Reck and IE were top 10 teams on the OGL. Reck was undefeated at this point, and of course IE was the unstoppable juggernaut at the time. We had some serious issues at the start of this match. Locke suddenly dropped and disappeared seconds before we started. This meant we had to switch Shag from Heavy Offense to Light D, despite his horrid ping. LoLnow was having problems with his ping as well, so our defense was having a hard time all together. Thud moved in to cover the heavy O position, that being his first time playing that position.

I think we did well despite the problems that occurred. We took down their gens in the first 2 minutes, but as a result were slow in getting the flag away from them. 10 minutes in we nearly capped the tying cap, but IE's talented cappers (can't remember their names off hand) grabbed it right as we were about to cap. Stalemate.

We decided to drop the flag and let it return as neither team had been successful in retrieving the other teams flag. There was about 6 minutes left in the game at this point. IE was able to cap it, and in the confusion capped it two more times in the last 4 minutes of the game as our whole team tried desperately to cap on IE's 5 or 6 light D.

It was a very intense match, and probably one of the most fun I've ever played... despite the frustrating lag problems.
